Speaking the Truth in Love Ephesians 4:15 Rather, let our lives lovingly express truth (in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly). Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things unto HIM Who is the Head (even) Christ the Messiah, the Anointed One). Our lives are to be one that displays truth. As Paul said give no offense to the Gospel. Let nothing be said or done that could hurt the cause of Christ. James 3:1 James gives a warning to teachers and those in leadership position." My Brethren, be not masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation". We will be judged by a higher standard, and with greater severity. God expects accountability out of us. The things that God commands --- He expects us to do. Leading by example. Are we looking for The Truth, or do we want someone to pat us on the back and tell us "how wonderful we are". That only makes our flesh feel good. But The Truth spoken in love will set us free and keep us free. The Truth will cause us to grow up. When we grow up, we quit doing childish things. We quit following after the things of the flesh and follow after the things of the Spirit. The things that makes the Father pleased. After all when we know to do right and don't do it --- thats sin. Sin will separate you from God's best. It will open the door for the enemy to move into your life to steal, kill and destroy you.
